My name is Laura. I am a fully qualified specialist children and young people's counsellor.  I work one-to-one with young people aged 11-18 within central Edinburgh in a safe, welcoming and confidential space.  I aim to make counselling more affordab鈥�

Since gaining my MSc in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy at Birkbeck College, University of London, I have worked in different NHS services for a number of years, seeing individuals for both short and longer term counselling/psychotherapy.鈥�

You may be feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck.  Or you may be a couple struggling with your relationship. Life does not feel as good as it could be.  If so,  I can help you.  It can be hard to manage distressing emotions or address negative 鈥�

Choosing a counsellor can be a big step which can feel daunting. How do you find the therapist who will be right for you? If you are new to counselling, the various theoretical approaches listed by counsellors can be confusing. What feels more import鈥�

I am a professionally trained integrative therapist who works with people of all ages. I hold an MSc in Attachment Studies and have achieved accreditation with the 网爆门. I draw upon a range of therapies, underpinned with a person-centred relational m鈥�

The relationship between client and therapist is a unique one, and it's of upmost importance to me and my practice that it is this, that provides a strong basis for the therapy to occur. Talking to me rather than a friend or relative can be extremely鈥�
