I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Southport. Alongside Person-Centred Therapy, I offer other strategies, such as Solution Focused Therapy, aspects of EMDR, DBT, Mindfulness and CBT. As a person-centred therapist, I put you at t鈥�

Life experience; To give you an idea of my journey to becoming a counsellor; I started working in a plastic factory for some 15 years and have experienced losing my job through ill-health during this part of my life, I went back into education, gaini鈥�

My name is Julie, and I鈥檓 an Integrative Therapist and Creative Arts Counsellor. This means that while our sessions can take the form of traditional talking therapy, we can also use the creative arts as another way to explore and express your experie鈥�

I have moved into new premises and have a therapy suite which includes a sunny yellow counselling room. Then a smaller room in calming shades of green and lower light. This is to cater for individuals with neurodiversity, acquired brain injuries or h鈥�
