I work with children to enable them to express and work through some of their thoughts and concerns. This can help them come to a more settled place in themselves. 

Children will relate differently to their counsellors based on the counsellor's age, demeanour, gender etc. They might be looking for lots of advice, or for somebody to boss around! Here is some information about my understanding of children and how 鈥�

I connect especially well with young people who are struggling to know who they are. They have a deep desire to be heard and understood, but can鈥檛 quite reach it or express it. They often feel 鈥渄ifferent鈥� or on the outside of things. These children t鈥�

Children and Young People鈥檚 therapy. Working with children and adolescents requires extra care and attention. Creating an environment where a young person feels safe takes time, patience, and sensitivity. Often, children and adolescents may struggle 鈥�

I am an integrative counsellor which means that I draw on a variety of counselling approaches to suit each client and the issues that they are bringing. I work with adults, children and young people, providing a safe, non-judgmental space to listen t鈥�

I understand how challenging parenting can be, especially when you are concerned about your child's mental health, anxiety, self-esteem or experiences.  I offer a creative, playful environment where children can express themselves using play and crea鈥�
