I'm Nick, and I specialise in trauma-informed care, often working with survivors of narcissistic, parental and partner mistreatment and/or abuse. If you need help with overwhelming or inexplicable anger, sadness, low self-worth, forgetfulness, burnou鈥�

As individuals, on our own personal journeys, we all have different ways of coping with our emotional struggles in life. Sometimes we have support from others, and sometime we have no one to turn to. We sometimes get through the hard times by isolat鈥�

Changing old patterns of behaviour and core beliefs may not be immediately obvious. As the saying goes - 鈥測ou can鈥檛 read the label from inside the jar鈥� or you can鈥檛 efficiently identify or solve your own problems because you鈥檙e just too close to them鈥�

I offer remote and walk & talk counselling, many clients can benefit from telephone or online counselling, as well as getting out into nature. By choosing telephone and/or online counselling, you can access your sessions in the comfort of your own h鈥�

I am a qualified Gestalt therapist practising in Brighton, Hove, Shoreham By Sea & sorounding areas. I recognise that taking the first step into therapy is a difficult one. Therefore, I will offer you a safe, calm and inviting space to bring in your 鈥�

I work in an integrative way meaning I use different skills from different models of counselling to put you the client in control and we focus on what you want to get from the sessions. I am also a qualified couples and relationship counsellor, I can鈥�

I have a special interest in helping adults who have unhelpful coping strategies that keep them stuck, such as eating too much or too little; drinking too much; withdrawing into themselves; and/or working harder to activate perfectionist and self-des鈥�

Reaching out to a therapist initially can feel intimidating and overwhelming but can be the first step towards addressing and gaining a fresh perspective on underlying issues. As an existential therapist I work with clients to think deeply about thei鈥�
