About me and my therapy practice

Conscious Uncoupling Coaching

This is for individuals who are separating or divorcing. You may need support going through this time because heartbreak really does break us open. It can take us back to very early stages of development and make us feel very young and vulnerable. In addition we can suffer from break up brain which actually does diminish our capability to think things through logically and take healthy actions. 

The Conscious Uncoupling process helps you to stabilise emotionally, assess what went wrong in the relationship, evaluate whether you want to continue to have any connection with your ex partner and if you do to create that in the best way possible so that you are in a respectful and cooperative relationship. It will help prevent you from getting into the adversarial 鈥 fighting in court鈥 process which can be so struck destructive for everyone concerned, especially children. It will also help you save on lawyers fees. The final parts will help you clarify ensure you get what you want in any future partnership, from how you want to behave and what your boundaries will be and to how you would wish to be treated. 

Calling In The One Coaching 

This is for people who have difficulty with relationships, maybe keep repeating the same pattern over and over, keep choosing people who are unavailable or disrespectful, or who have chosen not to have a relationship because they don鈥檛 feel safe enough to be in a partnership. 

We identify these patterns, discover the roots for you to grow past them. Many of us have unconscious traumas from our early life from abuse to emotional neglect. They arrest our development. We thus go into relationships from the young part, not knowing how to have mutually supportive, trustworthy and loving relationship. The process helps you learn new ways of caring for yourself and relating to others. You will make better choices for yourself in life and in who you choose to be in relationship with. You will be more able to love and be loved.

This will give you the opportunity to tell me what is happening for you and to ask any questions you may have. From there we can make a decision about working together.

Usually the programmes take between 12 to 18 weeks. They are a mixture of therapy and coaching. You will have reading, meditations and Journalling to do in between which will help guide you and gently bring to consciousness the influences of which you鈥檝e been unaware. We will then explore these in the sessions with kindness and good support. You will steadily begin to feel secure enough to move beyond your old patterns and feel the excitement of growth into a new more empowered and adult identity. You will have learned lots of new skills and new healthier ways of being. You鈥檒l be aware of your own feelings, needs and ambitions and be much more supportive of yourself in fulfilling them. From that place, you will choose better people to have around you, be willing to take the opportunities presented to you and to take care of yourself in all respects. You will be much more able to love and be loved in a more balanced and reciprocal way with a person who really suits you. 


My first session

After the initial conversation, we will enter into the exploratory part of the work together. This means getting a clear idea of what you really want. That becomes your north star in the whole process. We will uncover and address the things that have been getting in the way of you having the relationship or life that you want. We will look at how you think feel and behave which may have been unconsciously pulling you in the other direction. Once conscious of these things, you can begin to make choices to do things slightly differently, like hold better boundaries, choose people who are reciprocal rather than draining or demanding, give yourself good experiences and treat yourself as a loving and respectful friend would treat you. From there you set your course into a whole new life in which there is love, respect, cooperation, consideration, encouragement, inspiration, passion and affection.
