Practice description
What Is Psychodynamic Counselling?
- A powerful approach that focuses on understanding how your past influences your present life.
- Gaining insight into unconscious patterns of behaviour, we can work together to help you move from feeling stuck to developing meaningful change, personal growth and emotional resilience
- Confidential & Supportive Environment: Your privacy and well-being are priority.
What is EMDR?
- EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a type of psychotherapy designed to help individuals process debilitating symptoms of traumatic memories and emotional distress, often leading to a reduction in symptoms of conditions like PTSD.
- It involves guided eye movements or other forms of bi-lateral stimulation. Bilateral stimulation (BLS) refers to rhythmic, alternating sensory input — such as eye movements which engage both hemispheres of the brain.
I work in person from either Gloucester or Cheltenham.
