About me and my therapy practice
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling with your mental health whether it’s anxiety, trauma, low self-worth or emotional pain – you don’t have to face it alone. But healing doesn’t always have to look like traditional therapy.
After many years of working as a psychotherapist, counsellor, and coach, I now offer a different path: self-led, embodied healing through The Self Therapy School an accessible and empowering space for those ready to reclaim their healing journey on their own terms.
I created this school to meet the growing need for support that is flexible, affordable, and deeply rooted in inner transformation. Through guided self-therapy programs, embodiment tools, and community connection, you’ll learn to understand yourself more deeply, release emotional blocks, and reconnect with your true self at your own pace, from wherever you are.
My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, blending neuroscience and spirituality in a grounded, mind-body way. The tools I share are drawn from somatic practices, Polyvagal Theory, breath work, parts work, and inner child healing all designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and deep self-awareness.
What sets this work apart is that I’ve lived it. I’ve walked through and fully healed from a diagnosis of severe mental illness. My personal and professional journey over the past three decades has given me a profound, embodied understanding of what it takes to move from surviving to thriving.
I believe that healing happens when we learn to support ourselves from within. Through The Self Therapy School, you’ll receive the guidance, tools, and space to reconnect with your truth, awaken your inner power, and begin living from a place of wholeness.
You already have what you need to heal. I’ll help you remember how to access it.

About me and my therapy practice
My work is trauma-informed, integrative, and deeply rooted in the mind-body connection. I blend evidence-based therapeutic approaches with somatic awareness and spiritual insight to support healing on multiple levels.
In 1:1 therapy sessions, I create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences. We work collaboratively to understand the impact of trauma, regulate your nervous system, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others. Techniques I use include parts work (IFS), inner child healing, breath-work, and grounding practices tailored to your unique needs.
For those seeking more flexibility or a self-guided path, I offer the EMBODY Process - a self-paced program designed to empower you with tools and practices to navigate your healing journey independently. This program incorporates somatic exercises, polyvagal-informed techniques, reflective journaling, and meditations to help you build resilience, emotional safety, and self-awareness at your own pace.
Throughout both 1:1 and self-led work, my approach is compassionate and holistic. I honour your lived experience and personal wisdom, guiding you gently but powerfully toward greater integration and wholeness.
I believe healing is a process of reclaiming your true self, your body’s wisdom, your inner truth, and your innate capacity for transformation. My role is to hold space, offer guidance, and provide practical tools that support your growth, self-trust, and empowerment.
Practice description
My practice offers a compassionate, trauma-informed space where healing unfolds at your own pace. Whether you choose traditional 1:1 therapy or the self-paced EMBODY Process, you can expect a supportive environment rooted in safety, respect, and non-judgment.
In individual therapy sessions, I work collaboratively with you to explore the mind-body connection and how past experiences shape your present. Using integrative approaches that include somatic awareness, parts work, breathwork, and inner child healing, we focus on regulating your nervous system and building emotional resilience. My aim is to empower you with practical tools and deep self-awareness so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and confidence.
For those drawn to self-led healing, the EMBODY Process (a one off payment of only £44) offers a structured program combining guided practices, reflective exercises, and meditations. This approach provides flexibility and accessibility, enabling you to engage with your healing journey whenever and wherever feels right.
Clients can expect a grounded and holistic approach that honours both science and soul. My work is informed by polyvagal theory and trauma research, alongside spiritual insight and embodied practices.
Above all, my practice is a space for you to reconnect with your authentic self, heal emotional wounds, and reclaim your personal power. I am here to hold the space, offer guidance, and support your transformation with compassion and integrity.

Practice description
My approach to supervision
I am familiar with a variety of theories and competencies needed to be a safe and effective supervisor including working with: 'authority' in the supervisory relationship, transference and countertransference in the therapeutic relationship, working with the clients/supervisee needs, while taking a cross-modal approach to working with supervisees from various theoretical approaches.
As your supervisor, I will ensure that you feel able;
To work safely, legally, and ethically as a supervisor
To work with implicit aspects of the client and therapeutic relationship.
To develop your self-awareness and intuition as a counsellor.
To apply theory, research, and theoretical skills to the therapeutic relationship.
To work self-reflectively as a counsellor.
To work safely, legally, and ethically as a counsellor.
To develop your self-awareness and intuition as a counsellor.
And, to feel safe and empowered in your practice.
A collaborative approach
I believe supervision is a collaborative process, and as the supervisor I will facilitate and guide you to learn and develop confidence as an independent practitioner.
The supervision relationship is a unique one and I believe it has to feel right in order for you to be yourself and feel confident to bring what you want to the session and ask for what you need in each session without fear of being judged or shamed.
I always offer non-judgmental and humanistic supervision, I like to offer constructive feedback and encouragement to ensure your self-development both as an individual and as a counsellor.
Session details
I am currently offering supervision online via Zoom and would be happy to provide either one-hour monthly supervision (alongside own group supervision provision) or the Íø±¬ÃÅ 1.5 hour requirement for monthly supervision.
My fee is £60 for a 60-minute session or £85 for the Íø±¬ÃÅ recommended 1.5-hour monthly supervision.
My first session
During our first session, we will spend time establishing our contract and discussing your needs and goals as an independent counsellor in supervision.
We will also ensure that we're a good fit to work together and together decide on a suitable way forward for your supervision journey.
