Availability
I work Monday-Friday, with some early mornings and weekends available. I currently have space for two clients, as of May 2025.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer therapeutic coaching - a blend of coaching and therapy that combines the insight and healing that therapy offers with the energy of coaching where you work towards your own preferred outcomes, at your own pace.
Sessions are generally 1.5 hours, unlike therapy which is typically 50 minutes.
I aim to build a relationship with my clients based on trust, respect, encouragement and care, and for our work together to make a real difference to you and to the quality of your life. People are currently living with so many uncertainties; I can offer you the time and space to begin to make some sense, feel more confident, and if you have lost them, re-find inner peace and purpose.
I'm Íø±¬ÃÅ accredited and registered, qualified since 1994 and a generalist although in the past few years I've worked a lot with people experiencing anxiety and distress about what's happening to our climate and nature, which has been called climate or eco anxiety.
I have extensive experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, work and relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem and confidence. I've worked in organisational settings with senior executives, middle managers and people right at the start of their career, and with private clients at all stages of their life. I also coach people who are striving to create a more sustainable future in their work and communities.
My approach is integrative with a strong person-centred stance, and I keep up to date with extensive professional development, eg. in the last 2 years, on trauma, neurodiversity, resilience, diversity, child & adolescent mental health, climate change, and family dynamics.
Practice description
My approach is generally quiet, reflective, and non intrusive - my clients take the lead, with minimal interruption from me but I promise no cold hard silences, just warm expectant ones, because I know that the right kind of silence can be really valued.
Or if you want me to be more conversational, I can be that too.
I firmly believe that people know what they need; they just may not have had the chance to say it. I am here for the journey with you, and know that some days you might be full of optimism, others more depleted, I welcome all your stories, and all of you that you choose to share.
My first session
I work online by Zoom. Firstly, we can arrange a 30 minute session to explore the possibility of working together - there is no charge for this and I will send you a link to my diary after you have contacted me.
I do not ask you to complete a written assessment but will ask you a number of questions. If you would like to have these before we meet please let me know,
If we then agree to go ahead, typically we pre-arrange 6 sessions to take place weekly, fortnightly or monthly, according to our agreement of your needs. Whatever we decide to do, we will agree a clear contract and review our sessions regularly, to make sure that this is being helpful for you.

I work Monday-Friday during office hours and can arrange weekday early evening or early morning Zooms or calls where needed. I currently have space for 1 supervisee as at April 2025.
If you live locally to Shipston on Stour / Moreton in Marsh, we can arrange some or all of our sessions outdoors in nature, after a discussion around accessibility and safety.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you a coach who is deeply concerned about climate crisis, biodiversity loss and social justice? I work with coaches and psychotherapeutic coaches who:
🌳 want to make a real difference and are seeking ways to bring climate, ecological and social justice issues into their coaching work without "forcing an agenda" on their clients
🌳 are keen to find ways to overcome deeply ingrained systems and "business as usual cultures" that are holding us back as a society
🌳 want to make space for the clients' climate emotions about climate and biodiversity loss and grief without the coaching becoming solely about emotional development
🌳 recognise that as a profession coaching needs to go beyond working on individual behavioural change and instead to transform the systems that underpin our relationships with each other and the living world.
The changes we're witnessing and experiencing in our world can evoke all kinds of difficult and complex defences, responses and emotions*. So in supervision I can provide time and space for you to explore what your clients need from you and how you can meet those, including from the growing range of therapeutic, coaching, climate psychology & ecopsychology ideas, practices & tools.
My approach is underpinned by the Thinking Environment (I am global faculty at Time to Think) and also experienced and trained in Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed and Systemic approaches.
Sessions can be online by Zoom (or in person, depending on location - I live at the intersection of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire).
In June 2025 I am starting a new Supervision group - visit here to find out more. www.aspey.com/events/group-supervision-june2025
* Naturally, as we share the same planet as our clients, practitioners can experience the same range of responses; I can help you to contain & channel these, & where needed, help you to seek external support for yourself.
Practice description
I am a certified Climate Change Coach (Academy of Exec Coaching), a qualified Integrative Supervisor, and have specialised in climate and environmental work since 2019. However all of my work is underpinned though by the Thinking Environment which ensures that you can bring anything you would like to bring to the supervision, and I will promise to create a space where you can truly think for yourself - you do not only have to bring climate and environmental related work - although of course the environment is with us all the time.
I work online by Zoom.
