I offer therapy sessions Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm being my last appointment time. I do have availability within my working week. I tend to encourage us to collaboratively arrange an initial weekly session at the same time and day each week. I do of course understand that due to the nature of each persons employment and personal circumstances that this may be difficult at times. I am totally flexible to accommodate and work with what is convenient for you. My diary tends to book a week in advance so I would advise that once you know your availability we can book a further therapy session that is convenient for your you and works with your availability.
About me and my therapy practice
I work to establish a warm and trusted relationship in a safe non-judgemental environment to enable you to gently explore your current and underlying early experiences that might be causing you conflict in the present. My approach is to work in collaboration with you to formulate an understanding of your difficulties. We can then discuss a mutually agreeable strategy to help you make successful changes in your life utilising learning from theoretical and visual learning models. I work proactively to help you understand and manage your difficulties.

My first session
In our initial session I will take you through a brief assessment to include your name and address and GP details together with any psychiatric history and current medications. The rationale behind this is that in the event you presented as suicidal a GP would require this information. I will never contact a GP without involving you in the process. I also use anxiety and depression questionnaires when required which we can continue to monitor and review every 4 weeks for us to visually see if your symptoms and emotions have reduced enabling us to change our treatment plan if needed. During your first session I will work to gain a brief history of your difficulties which I do note for my personal reference which will not be shared with any third party without your permission.
