About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, experienced and attentive therapist, an Accredited Member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ and registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council. I see individual adults who may be struggling to cope with long term issues, traumatic events or new difficulties that have emerged in their lives. Others choose psychotherapy to help them understand themselves better and embark on a journey of self-exploration so they can begin to experience their life in a more authentic and fulfilling way.

I offer a confidential and welcoming space in which you can share the issues you are struggling with, or the aspects of yourself you wish to explore and we can think about them together in the light of your unique personal history.

Gradually, we will begin to develop an understanding of how your emotional world has been affected by the relationships and events in your life and this deeper understanding will help you work through your current difficulties and guide you towards a healthier future.

The therapy I offer is usually open ended work, once or twice weekly and is usually conducted face to face.  In specific circumstances short term work may be considered appropriate.

I also conduct sessions via zoom and telephone where necessary.

You are welcome to visit my website, at   for more information about how I work.

Practice description

My private practice is based in Mill Hill, NW7, easily accessible by public transport and car, with parking available. My consulting room is on the ground floor.

I provide a comfortable, confidential setting where the issues or aspects of yourself you are struggling with, have space to emerge,  allowing us to think about them together in the light of your unique personal history.

My first session

Following your initial contact, I offer a brief conversation by telephone and if it feels appropriate, we will set up an initial meeting during which we will begin to develop a sense of whether working together feels right.  We may decide to meet again before deciding whether to proceed with weekly sessions.  I will take you through the practical details and we will take it from there.
