About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified, accredited and experienced psychotherapist, a psychosexual and relationship therapist and an addictions specialist, who works with individuals, couples and families.
I facilitate face-to-face therapeutic sessions in my central London practices and online remotely. My work is influenced by Integrative modalities, which means I draw upon various psychological approaches to meet the varying client needs, including CBT, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Person Centred. I will also include coaching methods and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma-based work.
I will explore thoroughly childhood impairment, family environment and dysfunctions to identify the earliest point of anxiety and emotional insecurities, to determine how the past influences the present state, and how our attachment style affects our relationship with ourselves and others.
Reading material and Interactive homework exercises are included in my practice.
Practice description
On first contact, I encourage clients to a brief 15-minute call to gauge whether we are the right fit, so it feels right for you, and to ensure I can help you with your presenting problem/s.
If we agree to work together, I encourage weekly sessions to begin with and then scale down to bi-weekly once your well-being has improved.
I see myself as a challenging psychotherapist who is also very empathetic to people's vulnerabilities and difficulties.
My own eventful and traumatic life experiences influence my work, which I believe gives me a more profound sense of understanding.
