About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist supervisor, practicing since 2002 and accredited in 2016. With over two decades of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to my supervisory work, supporting practitioners working with children, young people, and adults across a broad spectrum of emotional and psychological issues.

My core orientation is Person-Centred, rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is central to healing and growth. I offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space where supervisees can reflect on their practice, deepen their self-awareness, and enhance their therapeutic skills. Alongside my Person-Centred foundation, I have undertaken additional training in other modalities, allowing me to integrate different approaches when appropriate and tailor supervision to the unique needs of each practitioner.

I am passionate about fostering ethical, reflective, and resilient practice. My supervision style is collaborative and supportive, encouraging openness, curiosity, and professional development. I aim to create a safe environment where challenges can be explored honestly, successes celebrated, and learning continually nurtured.

Practice description

My supervision practice is grounded in honesty, congruence, and a deep respect for the therapeutic journey. I offer a reflective, relational space where supervisees can explore their work with openness and authenticity. With a predominantly Person-Centred approach, I encourage practitioners to bring their whole selves into supervision, fostering growth through genuine dialogue and mutual trust.

Supervision with me is not just about case management—it’s a collaborative process that supports the development of clinical insight, ethical awareness, and personal understanding. I invite supervisees to reflect on how their own experiences, values, and emotional responses impact their work with clients. This process helps deepen therapeutic presence and enhances the quality of care offered.

Expect a safe, supportive environment where challenges can be explored without judgment, and where curiosity is welcomed. I aim to nurture confidence, competence, and resilience, while also holding space for vulnerability and uncertainty. Supervisees are encouraged to develop their own voice and style, informed by theory, experience, and reflective practice.

Whether you are newly qualified or highly experienced, supervision with me is a space to grow, question, and evolve—professionally and personally.

My first session

I understand how important it is to find the right supervisor—someone you feel comfortable with, who supports your growth, and aligns with your way of working. That’s why I offer a no-obligation assurance in your first session. If, within the first 30 minutes, you feel I’m not the right fit for your supervision needs, you’re welcome to end the session, and I will offer a full refund—no questions asked.

This time is yours to get a sense of how I work, ask questions, and explore whether the supervisory relationship feels right for you. I work with honesty and congruence, and I encourage supervisees to do the same. Supervision is a space for reflection, learning, and development—not just professionally, but personally too. It’s important that you feel safe, heard, and supported.

There’s no pressure to commit. I want you to feel confident in your choice, and I respect the importance of finding a supervisor who truly complements your practice. If you choose to continue, we’ll begin building a collaborative, reflective space where you can explore your work, deepen your understanding of yourself in the therapeutic relationship, and grow in confidence and competence
