About me and my therapy practice
Your sessions will be focused on Your needs with Self Care, Self Realisation, and Self Confidence. Your sessions are based on Acceptance, Empathy, and Honesty - In an environment that is non-judgemental, safe, and caring.
Practice description
I have practised for over twenty years in Bristol. I have worked in Community Alcohol Rehabilitation, Bereavement, and Neurodiversity (including late adult diagnosis).
I work with a Person-Centred therapy focus, a style of therapy popularised by Dr Carl Rogers, starting from his 1961 book On becoming a Person. To paraphrase, he believed a good life is a process, not a state of being; a direction not a destination. I practise with this in mind: You will open up and discover the real You and understand Yourself even better.
