About me and my therapy practice
I offer face to face counselling for individuals and couples in Sheffield. If you are living with anxiety, low mood, work related stress, grief, relationship difficulties or women’s health concerns including baby loss, I provide steady, practical support to help you move forward.
I am a Senior Accredited counsellor and supervisor with over 25 years of experience. My approach is relational, reflective and straightforward. We start by understanding what is getting in the way of the life you want, agree clear goals, and try strategies that fit you. We review what helps so change is steady and sustainable.
I have worked with people from many backgrounds, including professionals, charity workers, international aid workers and refugees. My experience includes complex trauma informed by work with Syrian refugees at the Refugee Council and earlier humanitarian roles.
Sessions are in a quiet room at 59 Wostenholme Road, Nether Edge S7, around a ten minute walk from the city centre and close to Ecclesall Road and London Road. Free on site parking is available and there is secure storage for bicycles. I am approved by BUPA, AXA and Aviva.
