About me and my therapy practice
Face-to-Face Counselling for Individuals and Couples in Sheffield
If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, work-related stress, grief, or women’s health issues (including baby loss), I offer practical, in-person counselling to help you move forward.
I’m a Senior Accredited Counsellor with over 25 years' experience, approved by BUPA, AXA, and Aviva. I work face-to-face with individuals and couples from my premises a 10 minute walk from the city centre, where parking is available and safe storage is provided for cyclists.
My approach is reflective and straightforward. Together, we’ll focus on understanding what’s getting in the way of the life you want, and develop practical strategies to tackle obstacles and build stronger relationships — including with yourself.
I have worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including professionals, charity workers, international aid workers, and refugees. My experience includes working with complex trauma, particularly through my work with Syrian refugees at the Refugee Council and during my time as an Aid worker.
In addition to counselling, I am a qualified supervisor, mentoring counsellors through the Íø±¬ÃÅ accreditation process and leading reflective practice groups for various charities.
