About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Kerry, a fully qualified, Íø±¬ÃÅ-registered Integrative Counsellor offering online therapy across the UK.
Integrative simply means that I blend different approaches of counselling to suit you. I’ll start by listening - properly - so you feel heard and understood.
Together, we’ll make sense of what’s happening now, gently notice where past experiences might still be affecting you, and build simple, practical tools to support your day-to-day life.
You set the pace; there’s no pressure and no judgement. My aim is to help you feel steadier, more yourself, and confident about your next steps.
I often work creatively (e.g., imagery, writing, simple exercises) and weave in mindfulness to steady the mind and body. My focus is your emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and helping you feel more like yourself again.
I have experience in helping clients with: anxiety (including social and health anxiety), low self-esteem, low mood, stress, grief and loss, trauma and past trauma, life transitions, family dynamics, and imposter syndrome.
Practice description
For now, my practice is online only via secure video.
Sessions are 50 minutes and take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The great thing about online sessions is that you can talk from a private, comfortable space without travel; at home or wherever suits you.
Online counselling can be just as effective as in-person for many people, and I’ll guide you through how it works before we start.
You’ll just need a quiet spot, a stable internet connection and a device (e.g. smart phone, tablet or laptop) with a camera and microphone (headphones can help with privacy).
Everything is confidential and I follow Íø±¬ÃÅ ethical guidelines; I’ll also explain the situations where I must act to keep someone safe (for example, if there’s an immediate risk of harm) at our first meeting.
If you’re unsure whether online is right for you, we can talk it through in the free 20-minute consultation.
My first session
I get it - scrolling through hundreds of profiles and picking a stranger to talk to is daunting.
That’s why I offer a complimentary 20-minute online consultation. A gentle first step with no pressure to commit.
What does it involve?
- A calm, friendly video chat with no forms to complete!
- Space to share what’s brought you here (as much or as little as you want)
- A chance to ask questions about how I work
- We both get a feel for whether we’re the right fit
What you can expect from me?
- Warmth, professionalism and zero judgement
- Clear next steps if you choose to continue
- Honest guidance if another type of support might suit you better
Your pace, your choice. If it feels right, we’ll book your first full session. If not, that’s absolutely okay. Remember, this is about what’s best for you.
