About me and my therapy practice
I work as an integrative counsellor, which means i draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt our sessions to suit your personal needs, experiences and goals. I don't use a "one size fits all" method - your therapy is shaped around you.
I aim to provide a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can talk freely and reflect without pressure. Together, we explore what feels important to you, help you make sense of what you are experiencing and find ways to move forward that feel manageable.
My approach is gentle, collaborative and down to earth. You set the pace, and i am here alongside you to support, guide and empower you as we work through whatever you choose to bring.
Practice description
My practice offers a warm, stead and confidential space for adults seeking support with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationships, low self esteem, life changes or simply wanting time to reflect.
Sessions can be short term or longer term depending on what you need. I work integratively, meaning i blend different approaches to support you in a way that feels individual and meaningful. My approach is rooted in empathy and is completely non judgemental - you are free ti bring whatever feels important without pressure or expectation.
I offer online or telephone sessions, providing flexibility and consistency. My aim is to help you feel heard, offer emotional support and a safe space to talk.
My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to share what has brought you to therapy. We will explore what is happening for you right now, what you're hoping to gain from counselling, and what kind of support feels most helpful.
I will explain how i work, answer any questions you may have, and together we can get a sense of whether the fit feels right for you. There is absolutely no pressure to book further sessions as it is important that you feel comfortable, understood and supported from the very beginning.
