About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Counsellor (Person Centred Therapy Accredited) working with adults to navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, and neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD. I offer both face-to-face and remote sessions, adapting my approach to suit each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
In my practice, empathy meets structure: I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood. My therapy is client-led, focusing on empowering you to build self-awareness, resilience, and practical coping strategies. Together, we work towards clarity, confidence, and positive change while helping you navigate life with greater ease, balance, and purpose
Practice description
I provide a warm, professional, and safe space for adults to explore a wide range of concerns. My therapy is client-led, meaning each session is tailored to your unique needs, pace, and goals.
I combine empathy with structured, evidence-based approaches to help you gain insight, build resilience, and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we work to navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and create positive change in your life. Whether through face-to-face or remote sessions, my aim is to support you in feeling heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence, clarity, and balance.
I also offer tools for self-reflection, practical strategies for managing day-to-day challenges, and guidance to help you strengthen emotional wellbeing. My practice focuses on fostering growth, self-awareness, and lasting change, helping you to achieve a greater sense of control and fulfilment in your life.
My first session
In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, your concerns, and your goals for therapy. This session is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to counselling, discuss any current challenges, and begin to identify what you hope to achieve through our work together.
I will also complete a brief assessment with you, which helps to understand your needs, background, and preferences. This allows me to tailor future sessions to ensure the most effective, client-led approach. Together, we will agree on a structure and pace for therapy that feels comfortable and realistic, and I will answer any questions you may have about the process, confidentiality, and practical arrangements.
The first session is designed to be both informative and supportive, giving you a clear understanding of how we can work together, while starting to build trust, clarity, and a sense of empowerment. Whether you choose face-to-face or remote sessions, this initial meeting sets the foundation for a collaborative and personalised journey towards positive change and improved wellbeing.
