About me and my therapy practice

My Commitment to Your Wellbeing: An Integrative Approach

Choosing a therapist is a significant step towards healing and growth. As an integrative therapist, I specialise in blending psychodynamic depth with person-centred compassion, offering tailored care to support you through life's challenges. My practice is open to all adults and young people seeking support for addiction, grief, anxiety, or simply a safe space to be heard.

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that relationships are key—not just with people, but with our experiences, emotions, and habits.

Psychodynamic work uncovers unconscious patterns and early life conflicts that influence your current feelings and behaviours, helping you understand why you react the way you do.

Person-centred therapy provides unconditional acceptance and profound empathy, creating the non-judgemental safety needed for deep self-exploration and lasting change.

I have and continue to work with those who have and continue to experience trauma, holding specialised knowledge in trauma-informed care. I recognise that trauma, such as domestic abuse, profoundly skews perceptions of safety and self-worth. I offer a confidential, validating space that respects your pace, focusing on healing, rebuilding confidence, and reclaiming control over your life.

My practice is culturally aware and affirming. As a therapist of dual-heritage, I understand the nuances of identity and difference, warmly welcoming clients from Black, Asian, and other minority ethnic communities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those with disabilities. You do not need a formal diagnosis to seek therapy—just a readiness to explore.

Therapy is a collaborative partnership. I bring expertise; you bring your lived experience. Together, we establish a nurturing environment where you can feel safe to be vulnerable, release burdensome feelings, and cultivate greater self-compassion. I am honoured to walk alongside you on your journey towards a more fulfilling life.

Practice description

My unique approach deeply integrates psychodynamic and person-centred/humanistic therapies. This means we'll work collaboratively to understand how past experiences may be subtly influencing your present challenges, while profoundly honouring your unique perspective, inherent values, and inner wisdom.

I am deeply committed to meeting you exactly where you are on your journey, celebrating individual differences, and fostering a truly safe, inclusive, and empowering space for all. As someone of dual heritage, I inherently understand and champion the vital importance of diversity and equity in therapeutic practice.
