Availability
I currently have limited availability for new clients on Mondays (in person in Glasgow) and weekday evenings (online).About me and my therapy practice
I’m a psychodynamic therapist with over 20 years’ experience in leadership, coaching and organisational development.
I work with professionals and leaders who are used to holding it together for others -whether that’s at work, at home, or both - but who privately feel stretched, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is reflective, grounded and quietly challenging, offering space to think clearly, feel deeply, and begin to make sense of what’s happening.
I understand what it’s like to carry responsibility and to appear steady on the surface while managing a lot underneath. Therapy offers a confidential space to pause, explore what’s going on beneath the surface, and begin to reconnect with yourself.
Working psychodynamically means we look at patterns and experiences - past and present - that shape how you relate, lead, and live today. The work can help you understand yourself more deeply, improve relationships, and make lasting change rather than short-term fixes.
For clients who want to connect personal insight with their professional life, I also offer therapeutic coaching - a blend of depth work and practical reflection that supports both wellbeing and effectiveness.
I offer sessions online and in person in Glasgow.
Practice description
Sessions take place weekly and last 50 minutes. I offer both short-term and longer-term work depending on what feels most useful.
I am a Íø±¬ÃÅ and COSCA registered psychodynamic therapist and also offer therapeutic coaching for clients who want to link personal insight with real-world goals.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
It’s a gentle, conversational session rather than a formal assessment. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance - just bring yourself and whatever feels important to share. I’ll ask a few questions to help me understand your situation and we’ll talk through how therapy might best support you.
Some clients come with a clear focus, while others simply have a sense that something isn’t quite right. Either is absolutely fine. The aim of the first meeting is to get a feel for whether the space feels safe, comfortable, and helpful.
If we decide to continue, we’ll agree a regular time to meet each week. Sessions last 50 minutes and are £85. However I believe firmly that therapy should be accessible for everyone and so I am happy to offer concession rates.
You’re welcome to take some time after the first session before deciding whether to continue - there’s no pressure or commitment beyond this initial meeting.
