About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Jo. I'm an integrative counsellor, and my style is built on being genuinely down-to-earth, calm, and empathetic. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself without fear of criticism. I see therapy as a partnership, and by working together, we can gently untangle difficult thoughts and emotions, helping you to gain clarity and move forward with more confidence and self-compassion.

Practice description

I work from comfortable counselling practices in Washington, Tyne and Wear, and also offer online and telephone sessions for flexibility. Please get in touch to see if working together feels right for you.

My first session

To help you find the right support, I provide a free 30-minute introductory session . This is a no-obligation space for us to meet and get a sense of how it might be to work together. My main goal is for you to feel comfortable and heard, and for me to understand your needs to ensure I'm the best person to help you on your journey.
