About me and my therapy practice

I am a psychotherapist based in Marylebone, London, providing a warm and collaborative space for weekly psychotherapy. I specialise in working with trauma and anxiety. 

I also work with a range of other needs, including:

  • Depression
  • Obsessive Compulsivity and OCD
  • Relationship Difficulties
  • Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). 
  • I frequently work with neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD, as they navigate a world that is often not designed to meet their needs.
Working with Trauma

I specialise in working with trauma - both trauma arising from single overwhelming events and experiences of complex or ongoing difficulties that can affect how we relate to ourselves and others. I offer a space to explore and make sense of the feelings that trauma can bring, which may at times feel tangled, heavy, or hard to hold.

Working with Anxiety
I have extensive experience supporting people with anxiety, exploring how safety-seeking behaviours that may temporarily soothe can also maintain anxiety and keep fears alive. In my work, I draw on a range of evidence-informed approaches to support people to loosen anxiety’s grip, increase their capacity to tolerate uncertainty, and reconnect with a more grounded and enduring sense of safety.

About Me 
I am registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ, have two master's degrees in psychology and am currently conducting clinical doctoral research focused on clinical understandings of psychological trauma. In addition to my private work, I have worked clinically in a variety of settings, including a specialist NHS service supporting people who have experienced rape and sexual assault as well as third-sector addiction services. I am a lived-experience practitioner, which means I have my own experience of long term therapy, its potential to bring meaningful change and insight into how hard it can be to let go of ways of being that once kept us safe. This perspective informs my clinical work and motivates me to provide consistent and effective care to the people I see.

Who I Work With

I often work with people who are feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed. Many have developed creative ways of coping that once kept them safe, but now feel painful or limiting.

For some, this can involve pushing feelings aside, holding parts of themselves back, staying busy or avoiding looking too closely at what feels uncomfortable, leaving them feeling disconnected from themselves or others. Others come to therapy struggling with self-confidence, finding closeness hard to trust or with a wish to understand themselves more deeply. Some people can feel torn between wanting change and fearing what that might mean.

How Therapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can offer a safe and steady space to make sense of who we are, what has happened to us, and how we want to live. Providing an opportunity to gently explore patterns - understanding them not as failings, but as protective ways of surviving in the world. Making room for parts of ourselves we may find hard to love, and for imagining new ways of being and relating.

It can involve stepping towards what feels difficult but I aim to offer a collaborative space that offers the gentle courage to approach what may feel frightening, painful or long-avoided. A central part of my work is supporting people as they navigate opposing truths, recognising that both therapy and life often involve balancing hope and despair, comfort and challenge, safety and risk, fragility and strength, holding on and letting go.

How I Work

I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I tailor my approach to each person I work with. I primarily work relationally and psychodynamically, while integrating evidence-based approaches like CBT when helpful. This means I work both with deeper patterns that may shape your life and practical strategies for managing day-to-day challenges. My practice is also queer/neurodiversity-affirming & adopts a HAES (Health at Every Size)-aligned approach.


My first session

Our initial sessions will be an opportunity to explore your needs and for me to ask some questions to help me understand your history and what’s happening for you now. These early sessions also allow us to consider together whether I’m the right person to support you, and whether ongoing weekly therapy with me would be helpful.
