About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, and I aim to provide a warm and safe space where you can explore whatever feels heavy, uncertain, or unspoken.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with the Íø±¬ÃÅ. I hold a Master's degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked in the NHS, community settings, and the charity sector, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of issues.
Practice description
My approach is integrative so I will be drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, and relational perspectives. I believe that human beings are inherently relational, growth-oriented, and capable of creating meaning from their experiences. I also recognise that early experiences, trauma, or difficult relationships can make accessing this growth harder. In therapy, I work with both what is present in the moment and the patterns that have shaped you, helping you reconnect with your inner resources.
I pay attention to thoughts, feelings, and how emotions are expressed in the body. I aim to maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental presence, supporting you in exploring, integrating, and making sense of your experiences.
Change can happen through the co-created relationship, presence, and the experience of being understood. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you feel more grounded, understood, and able to live authentically.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial assessment.
Your first session is an opportunity to meet and get a sense of how we might work together. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what feels most important to you right now, and any questions you have about the process.
There is no obligation to continue after this initial assessment, and if you feel I’m not the right therapist for you.
