About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for visiting my page.
My name is Heloise and I am a qualified relational, integrative psychotherapist (M网爆门) based in Crowthorne, Berkshire. Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, and my aim is to make that first step feel a little easier.
I work with adults on an individual basis to support emotional and psychological wellbeing. I aim to provide a warm, compassionate, safe and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard. My focus is to help you make sense of what you鈥檙e experiencing, understand what sits beneath it, and support you in finding a way forward that feels meaningful and manageable.
People come to therapy for many reasons - anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of being 鈥渟tuck.鈥 Whatever brings you, we can explore it at your pace, in a space that feels safe, grounded and collaborative.
My training
I hold an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (网爆门) and work in accordance with their ethical framework. I attend regular supervision and undertake CPD to expand and update my knowledge.
My experience
I have experience working with adults across a range of settings, including a low-cost counselling service, the NHS, other community settings and within a national mental health charity.
Practice description
My approach
I work relationally and integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic perspectives, tailoring my approach to each individual. My practice draws on humanistic, psychodynamic and existential perspectives, alongside insights from trauma theory and the mind-body connection.
I believe our past experiences often continue to shape our present, influencing how we see ourselves, how we relate to others and how we respond to life鈥檚 challenges. Our early relationships can leave lasting imprints and can affect how safe, fulfilled, or connected we feel in our daily lives, as well as how we make sense of the deeper questions around purpose and meaning.
Therapy offers a space to gently explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion. I see the therapeutic relationship as a place of repair and reconnection, where you can begin to understand your story more fully and move toward a more authentic and grounded sense of self.
My private practice is based in Crowthorne, Berkshire and online.
I work with adults on an individual basis.
Sessions last for 50 minutes.
Work may be open-ended or time-limited depending on your needs.
My fee is 拢65 per session; concessions may be available.
Please enquire for more information about my payment and cancellation policy.
My first session
I offer an initial introductory phone call so we can discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. This gives us the opportunity to get a sense of each other, to help you decide if you would like to work with me on a weekly basis. It also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
If you decide that you would like to proceed; we will agree a date and time for our first session.
Please feel free to contact me by email: heloise.liddell@yahoo.com
