Availability
At the moment, I work solely online on weekday evenings. You’ll need a private, confidential space where you can talk freely and feel comfortable joining the call.
Sessions last 50 minutes and cost £70. We can plan both short and longer term work, though I usually suggest weekly sessions initially. This regularity helps to build trust, continuity, and momentum, creating a consistent space where the work can deepen and progress naturally.
I also offer one-off 90-minute sessions (£100) using a more structured counselling and coaching framework. These are ideal if you’d like focused support around a specific issue, decision, or life transition. Together, we’ll explore where you are now, where you’d like to be, what might be holding you back, and identify some tangible next steps to move forward with clarity and confidence.
I offer a limited number of low-cost concessionary sessions for those who may not otherwise be able to access therapy. These are offered on trust, without formal assessment, to help reduce financial barriers to support. Please feel free to get in touch to enquire about availability.
I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call so you can ask questions, get a sense of how we might work together, and whether we might be a good fit. After this, you can take time to decide if you would like to book a session, and then get back in touch if so.
About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative counsellor and coach who believes there is no single way of approaching life’s challenges. Each of us is unique, and so is the path to greater clarity, balance, and fulfilment. I’m deeply curious about the diverse schools of thought that shape our understanding of human experience, and I draw on this rich tapestry of psychotherapeutic perspectives to support each person’s individual journey.
My path into counselling has evolved through 20+ years of working within the NHS in operational and change management roles, and more recently as an honorary staff counsellor. This experience has deepened my understanding of how systems, relationships, and individual journeys of change intertwine, and how meaningful transformation, (whether within organisations or ourselves), often begins with curiosity and compassion. Alongside this, my long-standing interest in holistic therapies and Eastern philosophy has shaped how I see wellbeing as a balance of mind, body, and spirit.
Integrating coaching and counselling allows me to bring together insight and tangible action, helping you to understand yourself more deeply and move towards the life you want to live.
My work is grounded in the belief that real change happens when we feel seen, heard, and supported; I aim to create a trusting pace where you feel safe to explore your experiences, emotions, and patterns.
Whether you’re coming with a specific issue you’d like to work through or simply a sense that something doesn’t feel right, I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you and find ways forward that feel authentic, sustainable, and empowering.
Practice description
My approach brings together different forms of counselling and coaching so that our sessions can be shaped around what feels most helpful for you. Sometimes that means exploring your past to understand where certain patterns or feelings began... other times it’s about focusing on the present, noticing what’s happening now and finding practical ways to move forward.
We will work collaboratively at your pace. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you explore what feels right for you and to support you as you begin to make sense of things and create meaningful shifts in your life.
Alongside talking, I sometimes weave in simple grounding or mindfulness practices, gentle reflection on the body’s wisdom, or creative and reflective tools inspired by Eastern philosophy. These approaches can help you reconnect with calm, clarity, and a deeper sense of yourself.
My first session
Our sessions offer a space for you to pause, reflect, and be heard … somewhere you don’t have to hold it all together or have all the answers. I’ll listen with curiosity and compassion, helping you make sense of your experiences and uncover what might be getting in the way of feeling more at ease.
Our initial meeting will be about getting to know you and understanding what has brought you here. From there, the sessions are led by what feels most helpful for you; exploring thoughts, feelings, and experiences to gain insight and find new ways forward at your own pace.
