About me and my therapy practice
Person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist and coach
Welcome, and thank you for visiting. My name is Silvia, and I'm a person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist and coach based in Eastbourne. I've undertaken counselling training from introductory Level 1 through advanced Level 5, and I'm committed to continuing with Level 6. I have been a Macmillan volunteer since I was a student, which has enriched both my personal insight and professional development. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore whatever's on your mind-at your own pace, and in your own way. While my foundation is person-centred, I tailor my approach to suit your unique needs, because I believe therapy should meet you where you are. Whether you're navigating a difficult moment or seeking deeper self-understanding. Whatever you are going through, you are not alone-I am here for you.
"Here, you are seen. Here, you are heard. Here, you are understood. Here, you are simply enough."
Practice description
In my counselling practice, I offer a space where you can be you-without judgment, pressure, or expectation. Rooted in the person-centred approach, I believe that you are the expert of your own life. I believe the answers we seek often live within us. But when life’s pressures, past wounds, or outside influences cloud our view, it can feel hard to find clarity. I offer a space where you can gently untangle what’s weighing you down—so your own insight can rise to the surface. I won’t tell you what to do; I’ll support you in discovering your own way forward. My role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, understanding, and a safe environment where your thoughts and feelings can unfold naturally. Each person’s journey is unique, and so is the way we work together. I adapt my approach to suit your needs, whether you're seeking clarity, healing, guidance or simply someone to talk to. You can expect warmth, honesty, and a compassionate presence that honours your pace and your personal journey.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Eastbourne, online, or over the phone—whatever feels most comfortable and accessible for you. For clients living locally, I offer the option of counselling sessions in the comfort of your own home. This can be especially helpful if mobility, privacy, or personal preference makes home-based support more suitable. If you're nearby and feel this would work best for you, we can discuss availability and arrangements during our initial contact. I also offer discounted rates for students, because I believe support should be within reach when it’s most needed.
This is a space for you to feel heard, seen, and supported—where growth happens not through force, but through trust and connection.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help us get acquainted and explore whether working together feels right for you. This brief conversation gives you space to ask questions and share what’s bringing you to counselling.
If you choose to proceed, our first full session will include time to go through a counselling agreement—a simple contract that outlines how we’ll work together and ensures clarity for both of us. This usually takes no more than 20 minutes, and the remainder of the session is dedicated to whatever you wish to bring.
To help keep things simple and secure, I kindly ask that payment is made prior to each session. This allows us to focus fully on our time together without administrative distractions. Details for payment will be provided upon booking.
