About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe non judgemental space, where together we can explore what may be troubling you, whether that's anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck. I aim to build a relationship based on trust and respect, where you can begin to gain clarity, develop self-awareness, and find your own way forward.

I work collaboratively and gently, holding space for you without judgement, while supporting you to build resilience and reconnect with your strengths.

Practice description

I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, stress, relationship challenges, and those times in life where things just feel uncertain or overwhelming.

Some people come to counselling with a clear concern they’d like to explore, while others are simply looking for a safe space to reflect, process, and better understand themselves. I offer both short- and long-term counselling, depending on what feels right and most supportive for you.

My approach is person-centred, which means our work is guided by your needs rather than a set agenda. I believe you are the expert on your own life — my role is to walk alongside you, offering support as you explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.

For those with limited mobility, I offer online sessions so therapy can remain accessible and flexible. All other sessions take place in my cosy little lodge, nestled within our private 7 acres of land. It’s a peaceful, natural setting where you can choose to stay indoors, take part in walk-and-talk therapy, or even include animal-assisted support. If it feels right for you, my small Pomeranian dog and gentle pony can be part of your therapeutic journey too.

Above all, I aim to offer a calm, compassionate, and confidential space where we can work together to support your emotional well-being, build resilience, and nurture personal growth.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute initial session, which can be held online if that’s more convenient for you. This is a relaxed and informal space for us to meet, talk about what’s bringing you to counselling, and explore what you might be looking for from the process. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and to see whether I’m the right fit for you. There’s no pressure — you’re welcome to ask any questions, and we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
