I have availability across a range of flexible online counselling sessions designed to fit around demanding schedules - early mornings and evenings on a Monday and Tuesday, with Friday and Saturday early morning sessions also available.
Where I work online, I am able to see you whereever you live across the entire length and breadth of the UK, at times to suit you.
About me and my therapy practice
Life in today’s world can feel relentless; balancing career, family, and personal expectations while trying to hold it all together. If you’re feeling the pressure, you’re not alone.
With 20 years of award-winning corporate experience, I understand the unique stresses professionals face. That’s why I offer flexible online counselling sessions - early mornings, evenings, and weekends - designed to fit around demanding schedules.
Working remotely means that I can support you wherever you live in the UK.
I’m qualified in person-centred counselling: you lead the direction of our work and I provide a space to breathe, talk freely, and start feeling like yourself again. You won’t be judged - just understood.
Person-centred counselling is a gentle, non-judgemental, non-directive approach that puts you at the heart of the process. I’ll provide empathy, respect, and understanding, while you set the pace and direction of our conversations. This way of working values your inner strengths and capacity for growth.
Practice description
I understand that reaching out for help can be daunting, and finding the right counsellor is a crucial step in your healing journey. That’s why I focus on creating a warm environment where you feel comfortable, valued, and empowered to explore whatever you wish, at your own pace.
I am a qualified counsellor, holding a Level 4 HECert in Counselling and being a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MÍø±¬ÃÅ), as well as being a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
I have worked with clients from within the NHS and privately via Choose Therapy, as well as voluntary work with ChildLine and Shout, and have more than 20 years of experience in the corporate sector, so have worked with a broad spectrum of people presenting unique experiences.
I have more than 20 years of experience within the corporate sector, where I was fortunate to champion mental health and wellbeing, and launch award-winning campaigns that raised awareness for the challenges that people face. For my work, I have been fortunate to receive some high-profile recognition, including Barbara Cox Woman of the Year 2022 from Cox Automotive’s Women with Drive initiative, as well as being inducted into the What Van? Hall of Fame 2025.
Although I based in North Wales, I have previously lived in the South East and South West, and worked in London, Milton Keynes, and Liverpool, and cover any geographical location thanks to working remotely.
My first session
The first session always starts with talking through our counselling agreement, which sets out the practical and ethical framework for our work together and helps us both understand what to expect from the counselling process.
This agreement covers things like confidentiality, boundaries, and practical details such as fees, cancellations, session times, how to reschedule, as well as what you can expect from me as your counsellor, and what I ask from you as a client.
The purpose is to create clarity, safety, and trust from the very beginning, so you can feel secure in knowing how the counselling relationship will work. We’ll then talk about what brings you to counselling, what you’d like to achieve, and how we might work together.
