About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Henry. I work with individuals facing a variety of issues that could include burnout, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, and questions around identity or life direction.
I have specialised experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients in exploring identity, sexuality, and the challenges of living authentically within a wider social context.
How talking therapy can help
Talking therapy can provide a space for a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you make sense of what’s happening in your life at the moment. I work integratively, drawing on various approaches to tailor therapy to what works best for you. Sometimes this means exploring your thoughts and emotions to understand what’s happening right now; other times, we look at past experiences to notice patterns in your relationships or self-perception. This process can foster greater self-awareness and create space for meaningful change.
In therapy, your experiences can be safely held and witnessed, including what you feel, think, and struggle with, helping you understand yourself more deeply.
Practice description
I offer open-ended therapy, usually weekly sessions lasting 50 minutes. I am available online and face-to-face. My room is located five minutes from Bethnal Green Underground.
My standard fee is £65 per session. I can offer a sliding scale for those on a lower income. Please feel welcome to ask about availability. I also provide a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so you can see if we might be a good fit before booking.
My first session
Our first session together will be an opportunity for us to learn more about your history and the reasons for seeking therapy, as well as for you to become familiar with my approach and address any questions you may have.
