About me and my therapy practice
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, and I want you to know you don’t have to do this alone.
I’m a warm, open and empathetic therapist and my way of working is relational, gentle, and creative, shaped by a trauma-informed perspective. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can bring whatever feels heavy or confusing, and together we can explore it with curiosity and compassion. From this place of understanding, lasting and meaningful change often becomes possible.
Practice description
My approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, which means I work alongside you, not from a fixed agenda. Over the last few years, I’ve supported people with a wide range of experiences including anxiety, depression, trauma, sexuality, divorce, grief and loss, family and relationship difficulties, stress, loneliness, work-related challenges, and life transitions such as the peri & menopause.
I believe in a neuro-affirming, inclusive practice and welcome people from all walks of life. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and committed to creating a space where you feel truly seen and valued. For the past two and a half years, I’ve also worked with Macmillan, supporting people navigating grief and the impact of a cancer diagnosis.
I have spent over twenty years of my life mentoring, coaching, and supporting people to grow and thrive. As a music educator and community mentor, I have worked with young people and adults, helping them navigate life’s challenges and develop their creative potential.
Alongside this, I’ve had the real privilege of mentoring artists and musicians on a variety of creative and international projects, supporting emerging talent and empowering women through music and technology. I have lived experience and specialist knowledge of working in the creative industries in many different roles. My work has been commissioned by organisations including the Arts Council and British Council, and has been showcased at international festivals.
