About me and my therapy practice

How I Work

I offer online counselling sessions at £40 per hour or face to face in Urmston and Cadishead (Manchester), with concessions for students.

As an integrative counsellor, I adapt my approach to suit your individual needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic methods. My aim is to offer a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with openness and compassion.

My background in psychology and counselling includes specialist training in ADHD, autism, neuropsychology, emotion management, and mindfulness. This helps me understand how our minds and experiences connect, and how to support you in managing challenges such as focus, emotional balance, and the pressures of modern life.

I see therapy as a collaborative journey — one that helps you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you create positive change.

I also provide a free initial chat to answer questions and see if we’re a good fit, in a supportive, safe, and professional environment.

If you’d like to book several sessions in advance, I offer discounted block options:

  • 4 sessions – £150 (save £10)
  • 6 sessions – £220 (save £20)
  • 8 sessions – £280 (save £40)

Paying in advance can be a helpful way to commit to your counselling journey and save a little at the same time. Sessions can be arranged weekly or at a pace that suits you, and used flexibly within an agreed period.

Practice description

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I understand the importance of finding someone you feel comfortable with. In my practice, I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind and explore what you’d like to change or understand more deeply.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in the way that best fits your needs. My background in psychology and neuropsychology allows me to bring a deeper understanding of how emotions, thoughts, and behaviours interact — helping you make sense of your experiences and develop practical ways to move forward.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, neurodiversity, relationships, or life transitions, I work collaboratively with you to uncover insight, build coping skills, and reconnect with your sense of balance and purpose.

I believe therapy should feel supportive and empowering, not overwhelming. Together, we’ll work at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you. I currently offer online counselling sessions at £40 per hour, with concessions for students and a free initial chat to see if we’re a good fit.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to meet and see how it feels to work together. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where you can talk about what’s brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it. You’re free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with — there’s no pressure or expectation.

During this session, we’ll explore:

  • What’s led you to seek counselling
  • What you’d like to focus on or achieve
  • Practical details such as session times, fees, and how we’ll meet online

I don’t ask you to complete any formal assessments beforehand. Instead, I’ll ask a few gentle questions to help me understand your background and tailor our work to your needs.

If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free brief phone or video chat so you can ask questions and get a feel for how I work.

Standard online sessions are £40 per hour, with concessions available for students. The first full session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions, unless we’ve agreed otherwise. We’ll regularly check in to review your progress and ensure the sessions continue to meet your goals.
