About me and my therapy practice

I use an integrative approach, which means I draw on different types of counselling and psychological theories depending on what best suits you. Rather than using one single model, I blend approaches such as person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural techniques so that our work is tailored to your individual needs.

Our sessions are collaborative and at your pace. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop self-understanding and find ways forward. Sometimes that might mean gently unpicking patterns from the past; other times it’s about focusing on the present and learning practical coping strategies.

Above all, I work to build a trusting relationship with you — because feeling heard and understood is at the heart of real change.

Practice description

I’m Eva, an integrative counsellor offering online sessions to adults across the UK. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing or painful. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, parenting challenges, the impact of cancer or a difficult diagnosis, or simply the ups and downs of everyday life. Whatever you’re facing, I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches — including person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural techniques — to suit your individual needs. This means our work together is flexible and tailored to you, rather than fitting you into a single model. We might explore patterns from your past, focus on your present-day challenges, or develop practical coping strategies.

My style is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. Sessions go at your pace, with respect for your experiences and values. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship that supports you in understanding yourself more deeply, working through difficulties and finding ways forward that feel right for you.

I work exclusively online, making counselling accessible from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Sessions are £50 per hour, with concessions available for students. If you’re unsure whether counselling is for you, I offer a free initial chat to answer questions and help you decide if we’re a good fit.

You don’t have to face things alone — reach out and let’s take the first step together.

My first session

Your first session with me is a chance for us to meet, talk about what’s bringing you to counselling, and see how it feels to work together. I offer this as an informal, welcoming space where you can ask questions, share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and get a sense of how counselling might help you.

During the first session we’ll explore:

  • What’s brought you to counselling
  • What you’re hoping to get out of it
  • Any practical information (availability, fees, how we’ll meet online)
I don’t require you to complete a formal assessment beforehand, but I may ask a few gentle questions to understand your background and needs. This helps me tailor our sessions to you.

If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, I’m happy to offer a free brief phone or video chat before booking a full session. Standard sessions are £50 per hour, with concessions available for students.

The first full session is the same length as ongoing sessions (50 minutes) and is charged at the same rate unless we’ve arranged otherwise. After that, we’ll review together how things are going and agree the best way forward.
