About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Kasia (pronounced Kasha), and I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting. Life can be messy and unpredictable, and asking for help is not always easy. Whether you’re feeling lost, stuck, or simply unsure of where to begin, I’m here to listen with compassion and help you navigate the challenges or trauma you may be facing.
I’m a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ. I’ve also trained at the Anna Freud Centre in mentalisation-based approaches. Additionally, I’ve held a degree in psychology, and for the past decade, I’ve been working in the field of mental health. During this time, I’ve supported both young people and adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
In addition to therapy, I can also offer guidance if you’re seeking a referral for further assessment, including for autism. I’ve supported many college students through this process, including writing referral letters to GPs and explaining the steps involved. If you’re unsure where to begin, I can help you understand what’s involved and how to move forward.
My approach is warm, person-centred, and flexible. I believe that every person’s story is unique, and I tailor my work to your individual needs. Therapy with me offers a confidential, supportive space where you can feel safe to explore what’s going on for you, free from judgement. Together, we can work through anxiety, depression, past trauma, identity issues, relationship challenges, or a general sense of overwhelm or dissatisfaction with life.
My first session
In our first session, we will take time to explore what has brought you here, what you hope to gain from therapy, and what kind of support feels most helpful at this stage. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and I will explain how we can work together in a way that feels right for you. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, with flexible appointments available either in person or online.
My aim is to walk alongside you – to offer clarity in times of confusion, support through challenges, and a sense of connection when you need it most. If you are seeking a counsellor who will meet you with kindness, honesty, and professionalism, please do feel free to get in touch.
