About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, or a sense of being stuck, it can be hard to know where to begin. You may not have the words for what you're feeling yet, and that’s okay. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported as we explore what’s going on for you.
I work in an integrative and relational way, drawing from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. At the heart of my practice is the belief that a strong, trusting relationship is what enables real change to happen.
I have a wide range of experience, including working with parents (new parents as well as those raising teenagers), young adults, individuals navigating major life transitions or uncertainty, people coping with health diagnoses that impact their lives, and men who statistically find it more difficult to access therapy.
My private practice includes clients from the creative industries, such as artists and television or theatre actors, as well as individuals in academia and the corporate world. I work with people from their late teens through to their 80s, tailoring the work to meet each person’s stage of life.
Alongside my private practice, I mentor university students across the UK who live with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals who may have felt misunderstood or unsupported in other areas of life.
I was trained in the arts and have over 20 years of experience in high-pressure sectors such as law, banking, and big tech. Whoever you are and whatever you're facing, I offer a grounded, thoughtful space to reflect, explore, and move forward.
Practice description
Clients describe me as compassionate yet gently challenging. I aim to create a therapeutic space that is warm, boundaried, and genuinely collaborative. I have a strong capacity to listen with care, hold complexity, and offer insight without judgment. Therapy takes courage and resilience, and I look forward to sharing that journey with you.
My remaining availability is at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30 on Fridays at Blackheath Yoga’s offices.

My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to achieve. You don’t need to prepare anything—it’s a gentle conversation designed to help us see whether working together feels like the right fit. Many clients find that even having this initial space to talk brings relief.
