About me and my therapy practice
In our therapy sessions, I believe that strength begins with vulnerability. Over time, becoming more comfortable with that vulnerability leads to self-awareness and growth.
My aim is to provide you a space where you can take the mask off and openly discuss your concerns. My sessions are judgement-free, collaborative and shaped around your unique experiences. We’ll use both practical tools and emotional insight to help you make sense of the relationships that shape you, your approach to life and how to feel more grounded and fulfilled.
I’ve supported many individuals through both short-term and long-term therapy, helping them to build lasting change and improvements. I work with adults, teenagers, and young people on a range of issues including addiction, relationships, life transitions, and neurodiversity. My aim is to offer a steady, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences.
I offer a free 15-minute phone or Google Meet consultation to see if it’s a good fit.
Practice description
I’m a humanistic integrative therapist with an advanced diploma in counselling and psychotherapy, accredited by Íø±¬ÃÅ. My work is grounded in a deep respect for each person’s unique story, and I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
I have specific training in:
Psychodynamics
Person Centred
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Long term therapy
Time-limited counselling
Neuroscience, Attachment and Therapeutic Alliance
Psychiatry, Psychopathology and Psychodynamics
Working with children and young people, including work experience at primary school.
My integrative approach is formed through psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This means I tailor sessions to your needs.
Psychodynamic work helps us explore the roots of your struggles, including patterns formed in early relationships.
Person-centred therapy emphasises empathy and acceptance, supporting you in finding your own answers.
CBT offers practical strategies for understanding and shifting unhelpful thought patterns.
Together, these approaches create a flexible and holistic way of working, helping you to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of self.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so our first session is all about helping you feel comfortable and getting to know what you’d like to focus on. We’ll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, any goals or hopes you have, and what you’d like to get out of our work together.
I’ll explain how I work, answer any questions, and go over practical details like confidentiality and session structure. This is also your chance to see how therapy feels with me - there’s no pressure to share everything at once, and you’re welcome to go at your own pace.
