About me and my therapy practice

I provide individual and couples counselling in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings, relationships, and life challenges. My approach is integrative, combining Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and CBT techniques, so we can work in a way that best suits you.

In individual sessions, we focus on understanding what’s happening in your life and within yourself, exploring patterns that may hold you back, and discovering practical ways to build confidence, emotional balance, and self-acceptance.

In couples counselling, I help partners feel heard and understood, improve communication, and work through conflict or disconnection. Together, we create space to rebuild trust, nurture intimacy, and find new ways of relating with empathy and respect.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you navigate challenges, reconnect with your authentic self, and move toward greater clarity and wellbeing.

I work inclusively with adults from all backgrounds and faiths, offering a compassionate, culturally sensitive space where your whole self is welcome.

Practice description

I offer a warm, welcoming space, either in my private garden office or online, where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. Together, we set meaningful goals and work at your pace, using a flexible blend of Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and CBT approaches. My aim is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We work together to understand what’s going on for you, set meaningful goals, and agree on how many sessions feel right. I adapt my approach to your needs rather than expecting you to fit a fixed model.

I work with adults, children, and young people facing challenges such as anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship struggles, cultural identity issues, or major life changes. Whatever you bring, I will meet you with empathy, curiosity, and respect.

My practice is inclusive and culturally sensitive. I believe therapy is not just about working through difficulties, but also about rediscovering your strengths and building a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and peaceful. I am a muslim myself but have always made sure my beliefs do not affect my counselling unless that is what you are looking for.

My first session

After our free consultation, your first session is about helping you feel at ease. I’ll create a safe, welcoming space where you can share what’s on your mind and know you’re being heard without judgement. We’ll talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and any worries you may have about the process. Together, we’ll set goals that feel right for you and agree on a way of working that suits your pace. There’s no pressure, this is your time, and you can share as much or as little as you feel ready to.
