Practice description

Who I Am

I'm PuiSum (He/They), a transmasc counsellor of colour. I offer a culturally sensitive and affirmative space for adults (aged 18 and over), with sessions provided in both English and Cantonese. Together, we can work towards creating a more fulfilling life.

My Approach

My practice is built on an intersectional and anti-oppressive and frame, which is rooted in Psychosynthesis, an integrative and transpersonal approach. I offer a gender-affirming, ethical non-monogamy/polyamory-affirming, and sex- and kink-positive space. My background in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion gives me a deep understanding of issues like burnout and minority stress. I have experience supporting individuals navigating themes such as anxiety, depression, cultural identity, gender identity, sexuality, neurodiversity, intergenerational and childhood trauma, and existential questioning.

How I Work

To begin, I offer a free, 30-minute online consultation. My standard fee is £65 per 50-minute session, offered weekly or fortnightly, for short or long term work. For short-term work, I recommend a minimum of 12 sessions to effectively address your goals. Sessions can be held in person, online, or as a mixture of both.

Accessibility

I am committed to making counselling as accessible as possible for you.

  • In-Person Sessions: My office is a two-minute walk from London Bridge Station. There are two steps to enter the building, but a ramp is available. Rooms and gender-neutral toilets are step-free.
  • Online Sessions: I use Zoom, which offers closed captioning and screen reader support.

Should you have any accessibility needs or requests, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate them. We can discuss this further in our initial consultation.
