About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my page! With so many options available, starting this journey can feel overwhelming and daunting. My role is to utilize all my professional skills to help you gain a deeper understanding of where you might want to explore your feelings and experiences.

Whether we're meeting in person or online, your voice is the most important part of our work together, and I want to ensure that you feel heard. If this is your first time taking the leap into therapy, that alone is an incredible step, and I commend you for it. It is my honour to support you on this journey.

Practice description

I am trained as an integrative therapist, which means I can draw on various skills and approaches tailored to what you bring to our sessions and when you feel ready. I will be there to support you on your journey.

I have a strong background in supporting neurodiversity, particularly with parents who sometimes feel unheard or overwhelmed. This can often lead to feelings of loss and exhaustion, especially for parents facing challenges in obtaining the necessary support.

Additionally, I have experience working with children who have encountered challenges impacting their mental health, and I also provide therapy for trainee therapists.

Here are some key qualifications and memberships:

• Fully insured

• Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ)

• Member of the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCPS)

Certifications:

• CPCAB Certification in ‘Introduction to Counselling Skills’

• CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills

• CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills

• Counselling Children and Adolescents (Charlie Waller Foundation, Reading University)

• CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

• CPCAB Level 6 Diploma in Children and Young People

I look forward to working together and supporting you on your path.

My first session

To ensure that we work collaboratively and that you feel comfortable with me, I would suggest to start with a 20-minute phone call. During this call, we can discuss how I can best support you on your therapeutic journey.

In our first session, I may take a more direct approach as I seek to understand your needs. This will involve asking you some questions while we sit together to gauge where you would like to begin.
