You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, low self-worth or are feeling stuck- therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and explore these thoughts, feelings and experiences. Through our work together I hope to offer new perspectives, help build resilience, increase curiosity and make lasting change possible.

I am a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered psychodynamic psychotherapeutic counsellor with a background in psychology, education and the charity sector. I adhere to the Íø±¬ÃÅ code of ethics and engage in regular supervision to ensure that my work provides the highest quality of care.

I have worked with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to inclusivity in my practice. I am a neurodiversity-affirming therapist and have worked supporting clients who have ADHD and those who want to explore whether they may be neurodivergant.

I also offer a safe and supportive space to explore the complexities of pregnancy and motherhood and welcome those who are navigating the challenges of being a mother.

PgDip Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of Brighton

BSc (Hons) Psychology, University of Portsmouth

Practice description

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, a therapeutic approach that explores how our past experiences and early relationships influence our current emotions, behaviours, and relationships.

These formative dynamics often shape the way we see ourselves and others, and how we respond to stress, uncertainty, and responsibility—often without our conscious awareness. Through increasing insight into these unconscious patterns, we create space for personal growth, greater self-acceptance, and a more compassionate inner voice.

My first session

Once you have contacted me, I will get back to you to arrange an initial 30 minute phone call. Here you can let me know what has brought you to therapy and we can discuss how we can work together and if I am the right counsellor for you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about my practice and psychodynamic therapy more generally.

In our first session we will further explore your reasons for coming to therapy and what you would like to achieve. We will also begin to build up a more in-depth picture of your past and present experiences and relationships.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and will be held at the same time each week.
