About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist offering a flexible and compassionate approach, tailoring therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. My practice draws on a range of modalities, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), allowing me to adapt our work together as your needs evolve.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and my role is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work towards understanding the challenges you face, developing strategies for change, and finding a greater sense of balance and resilience.
I have particular experience supporting teenagers and young adults, especially those living with ADHD, complex needs, and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) challenges. I also have extensive experience working with clients of all ages through bereavement, grief, and loss, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate these deeply personal experiences.
As a newly qualified Level 5 psychotherapist, I combine fresh, up-to-date training with a grounded, empathetic approach built on real-life experience in schools, community settings, and private practice.
Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, low mood, difficulties in relationships, or simply want a space to process and reflect, I aim to help you feel heard, valued, and understood – and to empower you to make meaningful changes in your life.
Practice description
My practice is built on the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Whether you choose to work with me online or face to face, I aim to create a calm, welcoming environment where you can bring whatever is on your mind – without fear of judgement.
Sessions are client-led, meaning we go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Some clients come to therapy with clear goals, while others simply need a safe place to talk and explore their feelings. Both are welcome here.
I draw on a range of approaches – including Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to shape sessions around your individual needs, rather than fitting you into a one-size-fits-all model. This flexible way of working allows us to focus on what will genuinely help you move forward.
I have experience supporting people through many different challenges, including ADHD, SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs), and the deep pain of bereavement and loss. I understand that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, but I hope to make the process as comfortable as possible, offering warmth, understanding, and a sense of partnership.
Whether you prefer the convenience of online sessions or the connection of meeting in person, you can expect a space where your voice matters, and where together we can work towards healing, growth, and positive change.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you. This informal chat gives you the chance to ask any questions, share a little about what’s brought you to counselling, and get a feel for how we might work together.
If you choose to book a first full session, we’ll begin with an initial assessment. This isn’t a test – it’s simply an opportunity to explore what you’d like to get out of therapy, discuss any concerns, and talk through the practicalities of how we’ll work together. It also gives you space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
From there, we can start shaping our sessions to meet your needs, setting goals (if you’d like to) or simply creating a safe, open space for reflection and support.
