About me and my therapy practice

Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you're used to coping alone. I offer a warm, grounded space where you can talk openly, be heard without judgment, and feel supported as you make sense of what's going on in your life.

I'm an integrative therapist, trained in both counselling and coaching. This means we can move fluidly between deep exploration and practical support, depending on your needs. Some clients come with a clear goal in mind; others just know they don’t want to feel this way anymore. However you arrive, we’ll go at your pace.

My approach is person-centred, collaborative and flexible. I’ll listen with care and curiosity, and help you explore the patterns, beliefs or relationships that may be holding you back. If helpful, I can also draw on coaching methods to support change, motivation or decision-making, especially when you're navigating a crossroads in life.

I've worked with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and loss of direction. Additionally, I also have experience volunteering for a charity that supports family members of children affected by sexual abuse; through this I have experience with trauma, abuse and coercive control. I also draw from over ten years' experience in education, supporting neurodiverse teenagers and those with mental health challenges.

I’m committed to creating a compassionate and inclusive space where clients feel seen, respected and supported to grow.

Practice description

I offer open-ended therapy for adults who are looking for a space to talk, reflect, and work through challenges in a supportive and collaborative way. My practice is grounded in warmth, care and curiosity, and I aim to meet you as a whole person and not just a problem to be fixed.

Clients often come to me when they’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or low in self-esteem. Sometimes they’re navigating a specific life event or relationship issue, other times, there’s simply a sense that something isn’t right. Whatever brings you to therapy, we’ll work together to explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

I am trained in both counselling and coaching, which means I can offer a flexible approach that adapts to your needs. Our work might involve gently exploring past patterns, building self-awareness and self-compassion, or supporting you to move towards change. Early sessions are usually exploratory, helping us understand what you need and how best to work together. Where helpful, I may also draw on tools such as journalling, goal-setting or reflective prompts.

I currently offer therapy online via Zoom. Sessions last 50 minutes and are typically held weekly. My fee is £65 per session and I ask that cancellations are made with at least 24 hours’ notice.

I offer a free initial Zoom meeting of up to 20 minutes so you can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether I might be the right therapist for you.

My first session

Before beginning therapy, I offer a phone call of up to 15 minutes so we can get a sense of whether we’d be a good fit. It’s an informal space for you to ask questions, talk a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for how I work. There’s no obligation to continue afterwards.

If you decide to go ahead, the first full session is 50 minutes and is charged at my usual rate of £65. This session is usually exploratory: a chance to begin understanding your story, what’s feeling difficult at the moment, and what you’re hoping to get from therapy. We’ll talk through any relevant background and think together about what you'd like the focus of our work to be.

There’s no formal assessment, but I may ask some questions about your history and current context to help build a fuller picture of you. You're always welcome to share at your own pace.
