About me and my therapy practice
I provide online, also medium to long term therapy.
With over 20 years’ experience as a Senior Lead Consultant in the recruitment sector, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life. This has deepened my understanding of human resilience, the value of connection, and the importance of compassionate support.
My own experience of therapy has been profoundly transformative, strengthening my belief in its ability to bring about lasting, meaningful change. This combination of professional insight and personal growth underpins my therapeutic work.
Practice description
The Values That Guide My Practice
I provide Unconditional Positive Regard – You’ll be welcomed just as you are, without judgment, in a space where you feel accepted and valued.
Congruence – I show up as my authentic self, building a genuine, open relationship rather than hiding behind a role.
Empathy – I aim to deeply understand your experiences from your perspective, offering presence, care, and curiosity throughout our time together.
My first session
Before we begin working together, I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation. This gives us a chance to talk about what you're looking for, explore whether my approach feels right for you, and give you space to ask any questions about me, how I work, or what to expect from the counselling process.
The consultation is an informal conversation with no pressure to commit. Afterward, I encourage you to take some time—perhaps a couple of days—to reflect and decide if you feel comfortable moving forward. If you’d like to proceed, we’ll arrange regular weekly sessions at a mutually convenient time.
In our first session, we’ll begin by reviewing our working agreement, which outlines the boundaries and expectations of the counselling relationship. We’ll also start to explore in more depth what you’d like to focus on in therapy, at a pace that feels right for you.
