About me and my therapy practice

Life can be hard, testing, confusing, lonely, challenging and lacking in purpose at the best of times, and sometimes we reach a point where life is even tougher and we just need another human being to be with us, to listen, hear us, understand and to support us.

I am a welcoming, understanding, non-judgmental person who wants to offer you support at a time when you need an outlet, someone to listen and to assist you in understanding yourself and to encourage growth towards reaching your full potential.

I offer a talking therapy, rooted in Person-Centred therapy, which is stepping into your world and being alongside you. Together we can explore your experiences, beliefs, self-perceptions and allow you to discover who you are, reflect on yourself, recognise your needs and desires, and to make steps towards boosting your self-esteem, self-confidence and living a more fulfilling life.

I work one to one, in a private, confidential space either face to face in Pool or Helston, online or over the telephone. I follow the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework to ensure that I am supporting you in the safest way.

Practice description

I work with adults aged 16+ and have worked with all ages with varying topics from grief, bereavement, parenting struggles, loss, loss of identity, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, overthinking, worrying, boundaries, healing past experiences, trauma, childhood abuse, lack of self-esteem & self-confidence, navigating life transitions, decision making, relationship difficulties, self-regulation, relationship breakdowns.

I offer a 20 minute free introductory session preferably online and also on the telephone to discuss what I offer and what brings you to counselling, what you aim to get from your sessions and to get an understanding if you feel we could work well together as it is the most important element of your therapy.
