About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can be hard, lonely, challenging or lacking in purpose. When we reach a point where life gets even tougher, we just need another human being to be with us. I am impartial and can share in your experiences whilst encouraging being more present in your life with more clarity and purpose.
I am a warm, excepting, compassionate, non-judgmental person who has a desire to help you learn, explore your experiences, beliefs, self-perceptions and recognise your needs and desires to gain a greater understanding of who you are and to lead towards a more fulfilling life with increased self-compassion, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Practice description
I offer a talking therapy, rooted in Person-Centred therapy, which is stepping into your world and being alongside you.
I work one to one, online in a private, confidential space. I follow the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework to ensure that I am supporting you in the safest way.
I work with adults aged 16+ and have worked with all ages with varying topics from grief, bereavement, parenting struggles, loss, loss of identity, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, overthinking, worrying, boundaries, healing past experiences, trauma, childhood abuse, lack of self-esteem & self-confidence, navigating life transitions, decision making, relationship difficulties, self-regulation, relationship breakdowns.
My first session
I offer a 20 minute free introductory session preferably online and also on the telephone to discuss what I offer and what brings you to counselling, what you aim to get from your sessions and to get an understanding if you feel we could work well together as it is the most important element of your therapy.
In your first session with me, we will discuss our client-counsellor agreement where we both agree on the terms of our time together including confidentiality and cancellation policy. Then the session will be opened up to you, to talk about whatever is important to you.
