About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor working with adults. The way I work is through the person-centred modality, which is a humanistic, non-directive approach offering a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore whatever it is you need. Wherever you are in your journey we will work together to help you make sense of your life experiences with more clarity and a deeper understanding of your true self.
I have a strong commitment to diversity, and I am an LGBTQIA+ inclusive counsellor, offering a non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to be yourself.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am fully insured and GDPR compliant.
Practice description
I will offer you a warm therapeutic space where you can explore whatever it is you need.
Together we can shine a light on parts of your life, in a safe, non-judgmental and gentle environment, to help you gain a deeper understanding of your life experiences.
My first session
Our initial session lasts 50 minutes and is a gentle starting point for us to begin getting to know each other. There’s no pressure or obligation to continue afterwards, the choice is entirely yours. This first session is a chance to see how we feel working together and whether counselling with me feels like the right fit for you. I’ll ask some questions and take a few details to help us begin our work together in a way that feels safe and supportive.
If you decide to continue, we’ll arrange a mutually convenient time for ongoing sessions. These will also be 50 minutes long and can take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on what works best for you.
