About me and my therapy practice

My work is grounded in psychodynamic principles, which means we’ll explore not only what’s happening in your life now, but also how past experiences and patterns may be affecting your thoughts, feelings and relationships today. I offer a warm, reflective and non-judgmental space where we can explore difficult thoughts and feelings together. My aim is to help you make sense of what you’re feeling, deepen your self-awareness, and discover more grounded and meaningful ways of relating to yourself and others. Through our work together, I will support you in building resilience to help you navigate life’s inevitable ups and downs.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Brighton and I am currently employed at both the Rock Clinic in Brighton and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Prior to my studies, I volunteered with the Samaritans in Hove, where I gained valuable firsthand experience supporting individuals in suicidal crisis.

Practice description

In my practice, I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk freely and be heard without judgment. I won’t offer quick fixes or strategies, but instead will support you in understanding yourself more fully, which can bring clarity, relief, and the possibility for lasting change.

I aim to build a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, thoughtful, and supportive. Sessions are usually held weekly.

My first session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of trust and rapport. You’ll have space to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, and we’ll start to explore what you’d like support with. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll go at your pace. From the beginning, we’ll focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship — one that can support healing, self-understanding, and the development of inner strength.
