About me and my therapy practice
I offer a non-pathologizing, sensitive, and dignifying person-centred therapy service in central Manchester which facilitates your growth and healing.
During our confidential sessions together we will welcome all of who you are into the room without judgement - but instead with curiosity, recognition, and empathy - to understand the ways in which you emotionally process your lived experience.
Through identifying and exploring narratives that you tell yourself about yourself, and the world around you, we will unburden you from that which no longer serves your authentic self, supporting your ability to self-right and live in a way that is present and intentional.
I do not view you as someone who is broken and in need of fixing; instead I understand that you are simply responding to, and coping with, the circumstances of your life up until this point. You deserve to be listened to, to be respected, and to flourish. I am dedicated to providing you with the therapeutic space within which you can author a new chapter in your life - one in which you own yourself on a deeper level, and exist in a way which honours the fullness of your selfhood.
I am a qualified person-centred psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy. I have worked within NHS Manchester Talking Therapies and have experience volunteering for various therapeutic listening services such as Samaritans. I have an office in Manchester city centre and can offer appointments outside of usual working hours if needed (i.e., weekday evenings and weekends). I offer a free 20-minute consultation over the phone/online, to see if I’m the right therapist for you. Concessionary rates for students, trainee therapists, NHS staff, and those who are unemployed or receiving benefits are available.
