About me and my therapy practice

I’m a qualified humanistic counsellor with a special focus on supporting children and young people, while also working extensively with adults. I offer a warm, safe, and accepting space where you or your child can explore thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Children and Young People

My approach with younger clients is creative and child-led, using tools such as play, art, sand tray, sensory materials, board games, music, and mindfulness. These can help children express themselves when words are hard to find, making therapy feel natural and empowering.

I have experience working in mainstream and alternative provision schools, and I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of every individual.

Grief and Bereavement Support

I have a particular passion for supporting families through the loss of a baby or child. I understand how individual and complex the grieving process is and provide a compassionate, non-judgemental space for parents and families during such deeply painful times.

Areas of Work:

Children and young people

Adults

Play and creative therapy

Grief and bereavement (including baby and sibling loss)

Anxiety, low mood, and emotional difficulties

Building self-esteem and confidence

Neurodiversity and additional needs

Whether you're seeking support for a child, a young person, or yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, care, and understanding.

Practice description

I work in a flexible and creative way to suit each person’s individual needs. You can choose how you'd like to have your sessions—online, over the phone, or in person. I know that everyone connects with therapy differently, so I aim to make it work in a way that feels right for you.

I also offer outdoor sessions if that feels more comfortable. Being in nature can be really grounding and offers a different kind of healing space.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute informal chat to explore what brings you to therapy, identify your goals, and understand any challenges you're currently facing.

If we decide to work together, I’m committed to providing consistent, reliable sessions where you’ll have a safe, non-judgemental, and empathetic space for personal exploration and growth.
