About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Insiya, a qualified integrative counsellor and coach with over 17 years' experience supporting people across cultures, communities, and life stages, in roles rooted in care, advocacy, and psychological insight.

Alongside my private practice, I also support clients through organisations such as Mind and Family Matters, offering counselling for anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, and relationship challenges. This brings a grounded, inclusive, and trauma-informed lens to my practice. I also coach individuals navigating career uncertainty, life transitions, and a desire to live more fully, helping them build clarity, confidence and momentum.

My integrative approach combines the insight of counselling with the momentum of coaching, so you can work through what's holding you back and start creating meaningful change.

If you're feeling stuck, weighed down by self-doubt, or simply exhausted from constantly coping, I offer a calm, supportive space to untangle what's going on and reconnect with yourself gently.

We're not just talking about what's hard, we're working toward what's possible. Whether that means exploring emotions and patterns, developing practical tools, or rediscovering your inner voice, our work together is shaped by you: your story, your pace, and what you need most right now.

Clients often say they feel more grounded, heard, and hopeful even after one session. Over time, they reconnect with their confidence, rebuild trust in themselves, and begin living in ways that feel more aligned and fulfilling.

Sessions are held online for flexibility and ease, and I work with individuals aged 16 and over, offering both short and long-term support.

Feel free to get in touch to book a free 20-minute call where we can explore what support might look like for you. No pressure, just a space to connect, ask questions, and see if it feels like a good fit.

Practice description

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching from the University of East London, a unique dual qualification that blends the therapeutic depth of counselling with the forward momentum of coaching. This means I鈥檓 trained to support you emotionally and help you take practical, meaningful steps forward. You don鈥檛 have to choose between healing and progress, my approach offers both, tailored to your needs.

My work is grounded in the Personal Consultancy framework, which brings counselling and coaching together into one fluid, responsive process. This allows me to tailor our sessions depending on where you are, whether you're feeling emotionally overwhelmed or looking to make empowered life changes.

I am a registered member of the 网爆门 (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their ethical framework to ensure you receive safe, professional, and confidential care.

Alongside my private practice, I work with two respected organisations:

Mind, the leading UK mental health charity, where I support individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

Family Matters, a specialist service for survivors of sexual abuse, where I offer long-term support to clients working through complex trauma.

With 17 years of experience supporting individuals across diverse cultures, sectors, and life transitions, I bring compassion, depth, and real-world understanding to my work.
