Availability
I am available Monday to Friday both in person and online. My practice locations are Enfield and Bedford.
To get started, you can contact me here or reach out directly at mdobrashian@me.com or 07980 983937 (text or call).
We’ll arrange a no-pressure free introductory call to see if this feels like a good fit and to answer any questions you may have.
I believe accessing support should feel straightforward and approachable - and I'm always happy to talk through how I work.
About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you're experiencing anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, or just feeling stuck sensing that something isn’t right. I will walk with you as you uncover insights about yourself, develop coping strategies, and cultivate the self-acceptance that leads to meaningful growth.
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. I will honour your unique experiences and perspectives without judgment. A space where you can speak freely and truly be heard, your feelings respected, and accepted with empathy and compassion.
Together, we’ll work towards greater self-understanding, resilience, and clarity - helping you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more grounded and authentic.
If you're thinking about starting counselling - or wondering if it's right for you - I offer a free initial conversation where you can find out more and I'll answer any questions you may have.
Practice description
I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ, which means I follow their ethical framework and am committed to working safely, confidentially, and with your wellbeing at the centre.
I work in a way that adapts to your unique needs and preferences - there’s no fixed formula. While I’m grounded in person-centred therapy, I also draw from integrative and solution-focused approaches where helpful.
I’ve supported children, young people, and adults in a range of settings, including those who are neurodivergent or disabled. I'm mindful that each person brings their own life experience, and I aim to meet you where you are.
I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am happy to answer any questions you may have about working together.
My first session
Our first session is a chance to talk about what’s brought you to therapy and what you might want to explore. It’s also an opportunity for us both to get a sense of how we will work together.
You’ll have a calm, confidential space to share as much - or as little - as feels right. We’ll talk about what you hope to get from therapy, and there’s no pressure or expectation - just a supportive conversation to help you decide whether this feels like the right fit.
I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
