About me and my therapy practice
I鈥檓 an integrated, humanistic counsellor based in Swansea and founder of Coastal Path Counselling. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My approach is rooted in person-centred, Gestalt, and existential therapy, meaning I value your unique experience and support you in making sense of life in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring lived experience and understanding to my work with neurodivergent clients. Whether you are exploring identity, burnout, masking, or navigating a world that doesn鈥檛 always make space for difference, I aim to create a therapy space that is accessible, affirming, and respectful of your needs.
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you we might explore patterns, emotions, relationships, or meaning and purpose. There is no pressure to 鈥渇ix鈥 anything; instead, we work together to deepen awareness, build resilience, and move toward a more connected and self-compassionate life.
I offer both short- and long-term counselling to adults (18+), either in-person in Swansea or online/telephone across the UK. I believe therapy is a space to be truly heard without judgment or expectation and I welcome clients from all walks of life.

Practice description
Coastal Path Counselling offers a calm, confidential space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace. Whether you鈥檙e feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply seeking a space to be heard, therapy can be a valuable and supportive step forward.
My practice is grounded in a humanistic, integrative approach. This means I draw from person-centred, Gestalt, and existential models to support each person in a way that honours their individuality. I believe in therapy as a collaborative process not about diagnosis or fixing, but about creating space for you to make sense of your experience, reconnect with yourself, and move toward greater clarity, acceptance, or change.
As a neurodivergent counsellor, I offer an affirming and inclusive space for neurodivergent clients. I understand that therapy needs to be flexible, respectful, and attuned to sensory, communication, and processing needs. You don鈥檛 need to mask or explain everything you're welcome as you are.
Sessions are available in-person in Swansea, as well as online or by phone across the UK. I work with adults (18+) and offer both short-term and open-ended therapy depending on your needs.
Clients often come to me with concerns such as anxiety, burnout, identity, relationships, low self-worth, grief, and life transitions. Whatever brings you to therapy, we can work together to explore it in a way that feels safe, supportive, and meaningful.
My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to see if working together feels like a good fit. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I aim to make this initial session as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
In this session, we鈥檒l explore what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, what you鈥檇 like to get out of it, and any hopes or concerns you may have. I鈥檒l ask a few gentle questions to understand more about your background and current situation, but there鈥檚 no pressure to share anything you鈥檙e not ready to. You're welcome to go at your own pace.
This session is also a chance for you to ask any questions about how I work, what therapy might involve, or anything else that鈥檚 important to you. If you鈥檙e neurodivergent or have specific access needs, we can talk about how to make the space as supportive and comfortable as possible.
I do not offer a reduced rate for the first session, but I do offer a free 15-minute phone or video call beforehand if you'd like to speak briefly before committing to a full session. This can be helpful in deciding whether you'd feel comfortable moving forward.
There is no formal assessment or diagnostic process my approach is relational and person-centred. If we decide to work together, we鈥檒l begin shaping your therapy around your unique needs and goals.
If it doesn鈥檛 feel like the right fit, that鈥檚 absolutely okay I鈥檓 happy to signpost you to other options.
